Too Much to Ask
Another piece from the Bevie James collection of fine poetry.
It was more to ask than I had a right
To be wonderfully pretty, instead of a sight
I wish that I had been adored
Instead of repulsive and always ignored
I envy those who then were pretty
Who got cute names, like Love and Kitty
Everyone wanted them in their arms
Kissing, cuddling, sharing charms
Janisian's version was better.
